I know it's not the preferred route to FI around these parts, but I'm really interested to here stories of anyone reaching FI through buy and hold real estate investing. How long did it take, how many units, how did you grow your portfolio etc.
I'm interested in going this route myself so I guess I'm just looking for some motivation / reassurance that it can be done.
